The TOMCAT General Studies Chair is designed for pupils in mainstream schools with restricted growth; or for younger children with other conditions, where mobility and balance are only mildly affected. It is suited to the general academic classes such as Maths, History and English where desk heights do not exceed 75cm. All standard seating features are provided to ensure the correct posture is maintained at all times.
However, the Tomcat General Studies Chair has a simplified step, footrest and transport system for use in classes and for disabilities, where the multiple features of the Science Chair are not required. The General Studies chair is an economical 'hop on, hop off' chair for mobile pupils in general academic lessons. When teamed with the Tomcat Science Chair for lab work or more exacting applications, it ensures that pupils get the very best from their education across the entire school curriculum. The Tomcat General Studies Chair is CE Marked and a Class 1 Medical Device.
