Originally designed in 1997, it is the lightest trike around and being custom-built, it offers the best possible lifespan. With many years of experience, hundreds of Trikes have been designed and built by Tomcat, making us the UK's leading expert on engineering Special Needs Trikes. The high quality engineering produces stylish trikes and head turning good looks! Special accessories are designed and built to order and include a rear operated cord pull brake designed for children who can steer but have poor grip or danger awareness, rocking handlebars for easy access and swivel saddle and step for children with poor balance. Tomcat footshoes can control the effort of pedalling and are able to finely balance weak ankles or deliberately stretch taut tendons and muscles. A wide choice of backrests systems are available from simple security needs through to fully upholstered systems with laterals, waistcoats and head supports.
Tomcat has a cycling solution for most skeletal, muscular and nervous system disorders and is confident of succeeding where others may have failed. We offer an expert fitting service at our business unit in Gloucestershire, with reception (and testing) facilities for the whole family. Tomcat also offers lifetime technical support, consultations, upgrades and service and repair.
